Carole Jean Anderson, age 80, passed away peacefully with family and staff on April 11, 2024, at Touchmark at All Saints, after a two-year battle with dementia and strokes.

Carole was born December 28, 1943, to Edward and Gwen Kunze in Cadillac Michigan, the third of three children. Growing up, the family lived in Bryan TX, Duluth MN, Indianapolis IN, then Sioux Falls SD. Carole graduated from Washington High School. She married Russell Anderson and had three children: Kurt (Jill), Julie (Jean), and Ryan (Jennifer). Carole has nine grandchildren: Chace (Wenjun), Jake, Josh, Joseph, Darren, Nathan, Kayla, Mason, and Cory (Colleen) and one great grandson, Charlie.

David William MacNally passed away in his home surrounded by his wife and family members.

December 25, 1943 - May 25, 2024

David graduated from the University of South Dakota and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He was an account executive for IBM for 25 years, retired, and enjoyed a second career in commercial real estate. He was married to his wife, Carol, for 57 years. David was an avid golfer and golfed more days than not. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Robert, and his son, Bob. He is survived by his wife, Carol, son Jason (Patty), grandson Brock, sister Barb (Dick), and many close and dear friends.

Janis W. Madland Grant, age 76, of Okoboji passed away July 25, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Jan was born November 28, 1944, in Sioux Falls to Cliff and Henrietta Madland. She graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls in 1962 and received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Morningside College, in Sioux City in 1965. A master’s degree was later earned from the University of South Dakota. Jan taught elementary students in Bloomington, Minnesota and Sioux City for 35 years.
