HELEN LANGDON
2023-11-28Helen and I talked together for quite some time at the 45th Reunion. It was a lively conversation at the table with Jeannie Thompson and Dana Dixon. The hot topic for three of us was ex-husbands! I'll miss her smile and great sense of humor.
tribute by Cheryl PittengerI met Helen in highschool. We ran around together along with Cindy (Chaney) Ellenbecker and 6 other gals known as the "9 Ninnies". She always had a great smile and was a beautiful person, both inside and out. We had such fun together, slumber parties, stuffing ourselves in Cindy's teenie, tiny car to get into the outdoor movie, playing cards in our card club after we were wives. I can still see her in her hair rollers at a slumber party. She was a great friend, I too will miss her. Rest in peace, my friend.
tribute by Dottie (Lease) WitkopI met Helen when we were 15 years old & started working together at Sunshine Foods. We worked together all through high school, and had lots of good times too. After graduation she went into the insurance business and was there for her whole career. Helen raised 2 of her own children and 2 step children - always working hard even though life was not always easy for her. She died as a result of complications from a cancer she had many years before, I think of her often and continue to miss her.
