Roger A. Benson, age 80, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Good Samaritan in Canton, SD. Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 am Friday, August 16, 2024, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD, with Interment to follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Sioux Falls. The family will be present to greet friends for a Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, also at the funeral home.

Grateful for having shared his life are his son, Toby Benson and his wife, Michele of Harrisburg, SD; grandchildren, Tyler Benson of Sioux Falls and Kayla Benson of Harrisburg, SD; brother, Ron (Judy) Benson of Sioux Falls; sister, Linda (Al) Carlson of Winona, MN; brother, Dennis (Pam) Benson of Sioux Falls; and many dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Helen (Aaron) Benson; and nephew, Chad Benson.
