JOE ZIEGAHN

Joey and I grew up together on Cliff Avenue, 2 blocks apart.  We shared everything, from comic books to many forms of mischief.  It was on HIS bicycle I first learned to really RIDE, as mine was too tall, too unstable (with me on it).  We lost touch after college, but soon learned we lived an hour apart, me in NJ and he in CT, where I visited him and informed his eagerly listening children just what kind of childhood he HAD...lol!  I attended his funeral two years ago, and found he was a beloved art contributor in his town, by his high school students, and the town itself.  God Bless, Joey...you were a good friend and wonderful family man!

Joe was a friend of mine starting in Kindergarten at Whittier.  We went to Whittier for K-4, and then had to move to different schools for  5th & 6th.  I saw Joe at the last class reunion and we had a wonderful visit.  Miss you, Joe.  Wish we could have talked again.
