I was very saddened when my friend Ed Arshem told me of Cheryl's passing.  I was so looking forward to seeing her at this reunion.  The Hansons lived on Lake Avenue just behnind our house during our grade school years.  If there ever was a "girl next door" for this shy, bashfuil primary school boy, Cheryl would be miine.  I will always remember her smile and the good times we had.

We shared many years of friendship that I will always cherish.  Here's a photo of you that summer you came with me to my Grandpa's lake cabin in Iowa.  I remember how we took a row boat out into the middle of the lake and intentionally flooded it to draw the attention of the local teenage boys. It worked!  I miss you.
