RICHARD FEE
I enjoyed knowing Rick and am so happy that he and Sandy had a number of years together. What an eloquent, refined couple.
tribute by Cheryl PittengerRick, your departure hits close to home. I'm glad I got to know you during our O&B times when I was cartooning. You also shared our study group's angst in Miss Hamrin's Trig class and kept us laughing through all those trying times. Thanks for the memories.
tribute by Richard (Dick) HeinemeyerAs many memories as I have of you in high school, my more vivid memories are of you and Sandra when we were young and living in New York. You two were the consummate hosts and it was wonderful being guests at your table, especially the very special Christmas we spent together. There was always lots of elegant food and thoughtful and engaging, not to mention hilarious, conversation. You were smart, creative and full of delightfully wicked humor. We had to say good-bye to you way too early one sad day in New York, but we still remember.
tribute by Carole BrownMiss you Rick. Lots of fun together at Edison and WHS.
tribute by Jane Bruns (Felty)Rick and I were in the same lst grade class in Watertown. Later both our families re-located to Sioux Falls, and I was delighted to find we were both at Edison Junior High. I'm afraid I had a huge secret crush on him all the way through high school. So smart, so good-looking, but also so very nice and so funny.
tribute by Carol Oksol SwansonRick was a dear soul who was gifted in so many ways. He was assistant editor for the Orange and Black newspaper, excelled in team debate, declamation, dramatics, and wrote for the Quill & Scroll, just to cite a few areas where he shone. He was also a great dancer whose favorite dance in high school was the "Slop," which, according to him, was a mixed version of the "Twist" and the "Continental." His life was way too short, but he left an indelible mark. Miss you, Rick.
