Al and I were neighboor hood buddies.  We played sand lot ball behind Sioux Valley Hospital, golf at Elmwood and trombone for Don McCabe and Ardene Foss.  His dad gave us rides to WSHS our first semester sophomore year.  I will always remember Al as a fired up motivator.  He will be missed, but always remembered.
